Cybersecurity
Most breaches at small businesses start with a stolen password or a convincing email. We close those doors first, then add round-the-clock detection so an attacker who gets in is caught in minutes, not months.
What’s included
- Endpoint detection and response
- Behavior-based protection on every computer and server, backed by a 24/7 security operations center that can isolate an infected machine immediately.
- Email security
- Filtering for phishing, impersonation and malicious attachments before they reach inboxes, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up correctly.
- Identity protection
- Multi-factor authentication everywhere, conditional access policies, and alerts on suspicious sign-ins to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Security awareness training
- Short, regular training and simulated phishing tests for staff, with results you can show your insurer.
- Vulnerability management
- Scheduled scans of your network and internet-facing systems, with every finding fixed and tracked.
- DNS filtering
- Blocks known-malicious sites on every managed device, in the office or on hotel Wi‑Fi.
- Incident response plan
- A written plan for who does what if something gets through, rehearsed with your leadership team.
- Cyber insurance support
- We complete the technical sections of applications and renewals and supply evidence of your controls.
A good fit if
- Your cyber insurance renewal asked questions you couldn't answer.
- You handle client financial, health or legal records.
- You've had a close call: a spoofed invoice, a compromised mailbox, a login from somewhere you've never been.
Questions we hear
Isn't antivirus enough?
No. Traditional antivirus matches known malware, while most modern attacks use stolen credentials and legitimate tools. EDR watches behavior, and a human analyst reviews what it flags.
Will security tools slow people down?
We aim for the opposite. Single sign-on and well-tuned multi-factor authentication mean fewer passwords and fewer prompts, not more.
What happens if we're attacked?
The security operations center isolates affected machines, we contain the incident and restore from clean backups, and we support you through notification duties under the Florida Information Protection Act if personal information was involved.
